Marketing Manager

Leepfrog Technologies, Inc. provides its CourseLeaf software to more than 270 of the nation’s most academically complex colleges and universities to manage their academic catalogs, curriculum, section scheduling, and student course search requirements.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs, effectively communicating product messaging, and generating quality leads.

  • Develop marketing programs and tactics for the CourseLeaf suite.
  • Create product awareness and generate quality leads.
  • Manage marketing variables for new product launches (i.e., target audience, pricing, etc).
  • Manage relationships with outside partners for co-marketing and brand development.
  • Develop effective communication messaging and branding.
  • Manage coherent messaging across product suite and each module.
  • Oversee creation and delivery of marketing collateral to support new product releases, advertisements, competitive responses, and conference materials.
  • Oversee and implement projects such as developing website content, writing articles, creating client success stories, and developing visuals.
  • Effectively supervise the Marketing Associate and the Conference and Event Coordinator, and potentially other positions reporting to the Marketing Manager. 
  • Oversee the Leepfrog User Conference, and our participation in 40+ conferences.
  • Collaborate and communicate with senior management and internal departments on messaging and new product initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute: develop broad strategies then translate into tactical plans over a 3-9 month time span.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field plus 4-10 years of experience is required. Demonstrable experience in all aspects of developing, communicating, and managing marketing programs. Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.

Proficiency with MSOffice and web-based presentation tools a plus. May travel 10+% of the time.

Physical Requirements
Generally, the Marketing Manager position is considered sedentary.  They will be sitting and using office equipment, phones, and computers. As part of the travel required, should occasionally be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
