Digital Product Analyst

The Gazette Company is seeking a Digital Product Analyst who will make meaning and inspire action in the ever changing digital revenue landscape.  Interested in Data? Feel comfortable in ad buy platforms or DFP?  We're looking for someone who can deal with both sides of the advertising operations equation.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable with being responsible for providing digital, strategic perspective and a business understanding that enables continuous improvement of online products, including ad optimization for publishers. Your creativity in the digital space is encouraged as part of The Gazette's Digital Team.

  • Collaborate with site owners to develop and communicate ad tagging technical needs along with recommendations for strategic and tactical shifts to increase revenue.
  • Assist with optimization and maintenance of web site publishing model, including long-range planning for traffic growth and advertising impressions; reconcile advertising results including impressions served and CPM yield; assist with budget and forecast presentations as needed.
  • Manage and grow 3rd party revenue and partner relationships as appropriate.
  • Support programmatic sales objectives by providing campaign monitoring and pacing adjustments and strategy.
  • Provide post-sales support to the Sales team including case study storytelling
  • Provide trafficking team with all required elements for accurate campaign implementation
  • Participate in new product development sessions
  • Provide site audits as needed to potential clients and support the sales process

  • Strong DFP & Buy and Sell ad platform / ad ops experience (Centro, Simplify, AdX among others)
  • 2+ year(s) in Digital Media, with a focus on Sales Support, Account Management or Project Management.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficient in PowerPoint with ability to translate data into clear action items.
  • Friendly, helpful and awesome at collaborating.
  • Strong analytical reasoning skills with knowledge of statistical techniques. Practical experience working with large data sets and understanding the challenges that arise when working with data from disparate systems.
  • Experience with forecasting and basic financial metric capture to support P&L reporting.

BS in statistics, finance, marketing, market research or other related field and 2 years experience in digital, financial or marketing role; or in absence of bachelor's degree 4 years applicable experience.
