Marketing and Communications Manager - University Housing & Dining

 

University Housing & Dining is looking for a creative and strategic communicator to serve as the Marketing and Communications Manager. This position is responsible for directing and implementing the overall strategic visioning, communications, marketing, and promotional activities for University Housing & Dining’s audiences including students, parents, faculty, staff, and guests.  Works with UI Office of Strategic Communications on media relations and the Division of Student Life Strategic Communications Director in implementing efforts to cross promote UH&D within the division and university.  Supervised by the Senior Director of University Housing & Dining and serves as a part of the management and operations teams in University Housing & Dining.  This position directly supervises a full-time marketing coordinator and communications coordinator and part-time marketing and design student staff. 

University Housing & Dining complements the academic mission of the University of Iowa by providing clean, well-maintained, secure, healthy, and affordable housing and dining options designed to meet the diverse and evolving development, educational, and nutritional needs of students living in a multicultural community.  Residents of approximately 6,800, eleven residence halls, and dining options that include three large marketplaces, catering, and retail operations

Salary and Benefits:


  • $49,000 to commensurate.

  • Fringe benefit package include 24 days paid vacation; sick leave; health, dental, life and disability insurance options; and generous employer contributions into retirement plans.
