CNC Machinist - 2nd shift

Local Tool & Die job shop is looking for a qualified CNC machinist to join our second shift group.

Schedule:

• 40-50 hrs./wk.
• Monday thru Thursday

Candidates should have schooling and or experience as a Machinist with CNC mills and manual machines.

This is not a "CNC button-pushing" job, we need people who can solve problems and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines daily. We build one-of-a-kind metal stamping tools to meet the production needs of our customers. The work being done is rarely the same day-to-day. You will be making multiple set up on different parts daily.

Preferred candidates would be:

• Ambitious, with a strong drive to learn and work.
• Well-suited to the ever-changing duties of a job shop environment.
• Experience in Hurco or any conversational type programming.
• Experience with Fanuc or Fadal controls.
• Experience Master-Cam or any programming software - preferred but not required
• Be well versed in reading and understanding blueprints
• Candidates will need to supply their own basic machinist hand and measuring tools.

We are willing to provide some on-the-job training for the right person.
