Material Handler / Plater Helper

For over 70 years Electro-Coatings of Iowa, Inc., has been a leader in the plating and surface finishing industry. We specialize in Kanigen® electroless nickel plating , zinc plating , industrial hard chrome plating , stainless steel passivation , thermal sprays, mechanical grinding, rubber urethane and electro polishing

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Racking Parts
• Material Handling
• Masking parts prior to Zinc bath
• Packaging parts
• Lifting 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Standing 8 hours a day

Other Requirements

• Basic Mathematical calculations
• Read Prints
• Ability to Read and Write English
• Use Micrometers
• Attention to detail

 

Employees will not work directly with plating chemicals, but will be around them. There is an opportunity for growth and the assignment of additional responsibilities after training.

 

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Benefits offered include Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short Term Disability Insurance, Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays.

 

This is a physically demanding job, requiring those qualified to stand 8 hours a day, lift repeatedly, and bend, stoop and kneel throughout the day.
