The Product / Process Engineer serves as a primary engineering resource supporting manufacturing operations in the areas of product and equipment design. Through learning and experience with Global Filter fluid filtration products, the incumbent is expected to be the internal expert on product detail designs, equipment required for their production and establishing and maintaining quality standards thereof.    

The individual in this role will:
  • Develop deep understanding of the detail designs for all products. 
  • Take ownership for creating and maintaining engineering documentation. Provide guidance in setting measures of product quality. 
  • Collaborate with Quality personnel on putting these measures into operation. 
  • Trouble‐shoot production equipment to identify causes and means of minimizing product variability. 
  • Conceive, design, and manage the construction of new‐generation equipment for the production and testing of the Company’s filter elements. 
  • Implement programable controls. 
  • Lead ad‐hoc cross‐functional project teams as may be required to achieve business unit objectives. 
  • Work closely and in collaboration with suppliers to steadily refine designs and specifications to drive continual improvement.    
  • B.S. or M.S. Engineering; Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing 
  • Preferred experience in fluid handling and filtration industry 
  • Basic understanding of industrial processed involving fluids and related treatment practices
  • Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
