Job Description:
Join a growing company and make a difference!  The Sr. Master Scheduler analyzes and evaluates processes and methods of production to maximize efficiencies in manufacturing.

Duties include:
  • Creates and maintains shop routings.
  • Responsible for maintaining calibration records.
  • Conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow, material routing, and spatial utilization. 
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing field.
  • Responsibilities include: updating and maintaining ERP system (Expandable), and integrate its capabilities throughout the organization, work-in-process, shop floor and inventory control, labor charging, and capacity planning.
  • Work with Sales Support department in forecasting and improving forecast accuracy.  
  •  Also provide labor analysis and capacity planning.
  •  Assist with control of inventory levels through education of MRP principles, implementation of tools or processes to adapt to Crystals’ unique environment, and reports and business metrics to meet company objectives.
  • Recommend allocation of the company’s limited tangible resources (equipment and labor) within the framework of existing physical constraints (physical plant).

Requires:
Education:  
  • Associates in Business or Manufacturing related field

Experience:  
  • Two - four years of planning, and/or MRP experience.
  • Ability to develop reports using current computer software is essential.
  • Microsoft Office

Physical:          
  • Involves use of computer and entering data. Must be able to visually analyze production with in the shop area. May be required to do occasional lifting or handle power tools.

Miscellaneous:  
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
