Primary Objective: To provide safe, quality, and efficient customer service in equipment repair and regional operations for the benefit of IAS and its member owners.

Major Accountabilities:

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.

  • Report to assigned workplace and be ready to work at time specified; report late arrivals or absences to supervisor prior to start time.
  • Maintain required licenses, physicals, etc. necessary to perform job requirements.
  • Employee is responsible for providing their own hand tools required for their job; larger maintenance equipment is provided at the site.
  • Maintenance shop operations including collaborative scheduling, making repairs, processing necessary paperwork from vendors, and processing work orders and shop invoices.
  • Maintain cleanliness of shop and warehouse areas in which you are working.
  • Assist in management of inventory levels.
  • Participate in safety and job related training programs.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety and conduct.
  • Create a positive, professional image to customers and community.
  • Able to cross train in millwright duties and responsibilities.
  • Accept and carry out other assigned duties given by regional manager.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Mechanical aptitude including basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulics, and piping systems and knowledge of various machines and tools including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines and computer diagnostics associated with electronic diesel engines.
  • Displays a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
  • Class A CDL or willingness to obtain a Class A CDL.
  • Welding and fabrication skills to assist in cross training of millwright responsibilities.
