Sales Coach / Market Leader

Our Coralville office location is seeking a dynamic leader and sales coach!  This is a non-selling position, responsible for leading, motivating, coaching and mentoring our team of 40 sales associates.  We are looking for a leader who knows how to maximize individual performance and exceed company performance standards.  

The essential functions in this role include:
  • Supports and motivates agents to create, focus on and exceed company and individual performance/sales goals.
  • Supervises a support staff within the office.
  • Initiates relevant training opportunities that maximizes agent performance.
  • Monitors and tracks performance and effectively communicates results to other agents and leadership team.
  • Effectively and regularly provides performance coaching for realtors and other team members by initiating regular individual progress meetings (monthly, quarterly).
  • Establishes weekly/monthly action plans for middle to low producing agents.
  • Recognizes agents for accomplishments and successes at sales meetings and through personal communication.
  • Initiates, plans and conducts regular sales meetings.
  • Retains existing associates by being proactive, approachable and available to their continued growth and development needs.
  • Collaborates with agent recruiter to attract new associates who are new to the industry, as well as experienced agents.
  • Instills and maintains a positive and collaborative team atmosphere within the office.
  • Serves as main point of contact for problems encountered by agents and consults with compliance experts to resolve issues.
  • Prepares monthly reports that communicates sales performance, as well as progress, on established business goals
  • Other duties as assigned
 
The ideal candidate:
  • Is an experienced, professional, sales leader with a minimum of ten years of direct people management experience.
  • Has a strong business background, with Realty experience as a plus; we need a true sales leader (real estate process will be an ongoing educational component).
  • Is a people-focused, energetic individual who enjoys a challenge and embraces change.
  • Has proven ability to identify talent, and able to coach individuals to success.
  • Is a well-connected, community leader who is actively and currently involved in the community.
  • Has demonstrated experience to do whatever it takes to ensure the success of their team.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relatable field is desired.

The compensation package:
Skogman Realty offers a competitive package base on qualifications with the opportunity to earn significant bonus compensation tied to branch performance results.  Base + bonus structure first year on-target earnings of $100,000+.  We also offer a comprehensive benefits program to include health, dental, vision, flex plans, STD, LTD and life insurance.  In addition to a 401K, we also offer an above-average profit sharing plan contributable to your retirement savings.
