ABOUT DOORWAY TO COLLEGE FOUNDATION (D2CF):
As a 501(c)(3) public charity, Doorway to College Foundation’s primary mission is to prepare students for their transition to higher education, whether they choose a community college or a selective university. Every day, we strive to inspire students to take control of the college admissions process. We work to spark each student’s enthusiasm for college prep so they begin to build the foundation for their dreams of the future.

Working directly with the schools, our common goal is to arm young scholars with solid strategies to achieve competitive scores and succeed in the transition from high school to higher education. Our broader mission is a work in progress; as we build our team of talented and dedicated professionals, we will reach into elementary and middle schools to help young students see college in their future and realize their own potential to participate in higher education.

D2CF’s home office is located in Iowa City, Iowa. Although many employees work remotely, this is an in-house position, requiring the executive director (ED) to work from the home office.

D2CF serves high school students across the United States with ACT and PSAT/SAT test preparation and other programs. Unique among test-preparation groups, D2CF has proven, positive results from independent school studies serving all students in a class, not just those that are high-level scorers. See documented results at http://www.doorwaytocollege.com/remarkable-results.
