Legal Secretary / Office Manager

Jacobsen, Johnson & Wiezorek, PLC has an immediate opening for a full time Legal Secretary/Office Manager in our Cedar Rapids office.  The ideal candidate must be organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task/prioritize, have exceptional written and oral communication skills, and a strong work ethic.  The candidate must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team as well as work with an assortment of personalities. Experience with Timeslips billing software and MS Office is preferred. 

Duties include: Correspond with attorneys, clients, courts, and other third parties, manage monthly billing, draft legal documents, pleadings and correspondence, file legal documents with the courts, answer phones, manage appointments, and interact with clients. 

Job Benefits:

Two weeks paid vacation to start after probation period.  Employer pays for parking.
