IT Project Manager

We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager with strong business acumen to oversee the execution of a wide variety of projects and service offerings. This role will interact with customers, vendors, partners, internal resources and leadership to drive success.
Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in Pre-Sales and Business Development activities as needed
  • Provide input into the creation of Proposals/ Statements of Work
  • Manage multiple internal and customer facing projects at the same time
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge stakeholder requirements with company goals and coordinate various resources and personnel during all project phases, from strategy through implementation
  • Drive the management of scope, schedule and budget to meet customer success criteria
  • Drive and manage project task dependencies
  • Monitor project progress continuously and provide updates on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
  • Facilitate project meetings and create an open, transparent environment to optimize outcomes
  • Drive risk, impact and trade-off discussions with key stakeholders
  • Review proposed modifications to project plans, including meeting with key stakeholders to approve and implement recommended changes
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate risks and issues to key stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner
  • Act as a BluPrairie brand ambassador
  • Act as an agent of change
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all key internal and external stakeholders
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings
  • Lead weekly project review meetings
  • Partner with leadership and the finance organization to drive and measure resource utilization
  • Monitor the performance of project team members on assigned tasks and, provide performance feedback to leadership
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Help coach mentor and train contract resources and new hires
  • Make projects fun and love what you do!

Education: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technology discipline or equivalent professional experience

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to: moving or handling (lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching overhead) office equipment and supplies weighing 1 to 25 lbs. unassisted. Frequently required to sit, stand or walk for extended periods during the workday. Manual dexterity and visual acuity required. Must be able to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.

Work will generally be performed indoors in an office environment. Must maintain a professional appearance and manner. An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and employees.
