Job Information:

UI Health Care Information Systems is seeking to fill a vacancy on the Identity and Access Management Team (IdAM). Duties include account provisioning; second-tier technical support and troubleshooting of account issues via telephone and email; providing input into the development of identity management and integration standards, practices and guidelines; identifying and responding to current challenges in account management projects including assignment of differing authorization levels based on roles and integration with single sign-on solutions. Position involves working occasional nights and weekends (scheduled and unscheduled).

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.

  • 1-3 years of related experience working with complex, integrated IT systems and applications,

  • Knowledge and/or experience with any of the following: identity management account and entitlement lifecycle; federated identity management; privilege accumulation; role-based access control (RBAC); authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA).

  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to new and changing situations.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail with strong organization skills.

  • Ability to effectively document procedures and instructions.

  • Experience working with technical and non-technical staff and end users.

  • Excellent communications skill, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with any of the following systems: Active Directory (or similar directory service); Epic (or similar EMR product); AeroScout (or similar RTLS solution); Voalte (or similar clinical communication tool); Connexall (or similar clinical workflow engine); Dragon (or similar text to speech tool); ElDorado (or similar blood management system); McKesson (or similar pharmacy system); Vital Images (or similar healthcare imaging informatics solution); or Omnicell (or similar supply management software).

  • Experience working in a healthcare or health industry environment.

  • Familiarity with healthcare job classifications and/or roles.

  • Experience working with confidentiality requirements as set by HIPAA, FERPA, federal, state and local regulations
