Job Information:

Position available to provide day and weekend technical support/maintenance of clinical devices, workstations, laptops, printers and clinical/business software in a large, complex network environment. Duties include assisting customers onsite or by phone with computer and network support issues; advanced installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software; assistance with user account administration; and the ability to learn and provide basic clinic application support. Work will be performed directly in the clinical setting (OR, nursing unit, patient bedside, critical care unit) and/or a structured Help Desk environment.

•Salary range is $48,500 to commensurate

Required qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience (typically 1-3 years) must include supporting workstations running Windows XP/7.
•Experience (typically 1-3 years) must include supporting workstations running MS Office 2010.
•Experience in a Technical Product Support Center, Customer Service Center, or Call Center.
•Professional experience working with desktop hardware and software in a managed workstation environment.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to move and install personal computer equipment.

Desirable qualifications:
•Experience providing technical support on nonstandard hours.
•Experience with wireless networking, wireless security, peripheral hardware (USB & serial), computer networking, end-user support and training.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently
•Strong customer service focus.

Work week begins on Wednesday. Work schedule is four work days of 6:30 pm to 6:30am with three days off. The following week would be a three day schedule starting on Thursday 6:00 pm to 7:00 am with four days off. This totals 80 work hours during the two-week rotation. Working holidays is also required.
