SQL Server Developer & Administrator

CBE Companies has an immediate opening in our Cedar Falls, IA Office for a full time Database Administrator II in our Information Technology Division responsible for our logical and physical database design, implementation and administration. This position is located in our Cedar Falls office, with the ability to work remotely after training.
Requirements for this position are:
•BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Services or related field.
•A minimum of five years experience with various database management responsibilities in complex environments.
•Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
•Knowledge of database development, including creating and working with stored procedures, views, triggers, and tables in Microsoft SQL.
•Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
•Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting MS SQL database servers. Knowledge of other database environments a plus.
•Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience.
•Knowledge of applicable data privacy and data security practices and laws.
•Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Functions and Skills:
5+ years with the following SQL Server Skills:
•Writing complicated queries and stored procedures with T-SQL.
•Designing and optimizing database design to meet user and performance requirements.
•Creating enterprise level ETL processes with SQL Server Integration Services.
•Designing and creating reports with SQL Server Reporting Services.
•Installing and configuration SQL Server in a production environment.
•Create and maintain database backups and recovery.
•Design and implement CLR database objects.
•Experience with SQL Server Profiler to analyze and determine production performance issues.
•Creating SQL Server replication publications and subscriptions.
Strong knowledge, solid experience and demonstrated proficiency of:
•Working with version control for database objects and application code.
•Prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•Working in a collaborative environment on large scale projects.
•Working in a high pressure environment to solve complex problems in an efficient manner.
•Working with Visual Studio and SQL Server Data Tools to develop and deploy database changes.
•Understanding of SQL Server Internals.
Additional knowledge and desired skills:
•Knowledge and ability to configure SQL Server in a High Availability environment.
•Automated database build and release processes.
•Understand of Team Foundation Server and Administration.
•Knowledge and experience with .NET programming languages.
•Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services.
•Experience with SQL Server Service Broker.
