We are looking for a high energy, dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can provide excellent sales support in the financial services industry. This full-time position requires the skills to recruit and support independent brokers for The Personal Producer Network (TPPN). With a focus on marketing to agents in America’s middle market, TPPN represents numerous national carriers in the Life Insurance, Medicare supplement and Annuity marketplaces. The successful candidate will provide support to financial advisors via outbound sales calls to help them meet their clients’ needs – thus becoming a trusted resource.  

Position Responsibilities: 

Proactively initiate calls to current and prospective agents to market and promote Life Insurance, Medicare Supplement and Annuity products offered by TPPN; help determine which products best meet their customers’ needs and financial circumstances; advise on the advantages/disadvantages and features/benefits of various products; notify clients of updated product information, performance and changes. Proactively initiate calls to prospective agents to share our value proposition and generate sales.  
Respond to inbound calls by providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers, and investigate potential sales opportunities through reactive telemarketing efforts. Maintain database of detailed notes and “intelligence” on contacts and their willingness to interact. Ensure compliance with internal and external rules, policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements. Conduct work with minimal supervision, be accountable for decisions made and know when to escalate issues to senior staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Extended workweeks and occasional travel may be necessary in special situations.

Desired Skills and Experience:  

The successful candidate will have experience in identifying complex issues and appropriate methods for addressing them. Must be able to cite examples of self-motivation and experience working under limited supervision. Demonstrated ability to pay strong attention to detail with effective organizational skills. Possess and display excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner. Ability to demonstrate strong telephone communication skills with appropriate etiquette. Experience with or working knowledge of Life Insurance, Medicare Supplement and Annuity products is a plus.
Computer skills required: Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe applications. Previous knowledge working with a CRM is a plus. 

Licenses: Life, Health and Annuity state insurance license preferred, but not required 

Educational Requirements: College degree is preferred, but not required
