Job Information:

Benefit Solutions, Inc., a growing Cedar Rapids employee benefits consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated, qualified and personable individual to join our Employee Benefits service team.

The Account Manager’s position responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Resolve day to day service, claims and billing issues, and assist with enrollment applications for clients.
  • Educate employers on laws and regulations that affect their employee benefits.
  • Manager the flow of communications between carriers and clients.
  • Provide high-level support to the sales staff by pulling together reports and assembling employee enrollment materials.
  • Maintain client renewal information, assist with routine data entry and review contracts for accuracy.
  • Other projects as needed by the agency.

Skills/Qualifications: 
The ideal applicant will have a two year degree or relevant insurance experience, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).  Candidate should be organized, able to manager multiple priorities, problem solve and have excellent follow-up skills.  Candidate must also be willing to become life/health insurance licensed, however, there is no selling required.  Prior experience servicing employee group benefits, or individual medical accounts is a PLUS!

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), first year paid time off and more.  Office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
