Job Information:

We are looking for a high energy, dedicated and detail oriented individual focused on providing excellent sales support. This position allows you to grow your sales through recruiting new
independent brokers. TPPN focuses on marketing to agents in America’s Middle Market. We represent numerous national carriers in the life insurance, medicare supplement and annuity marketplace. This support includes making outbound sales calls to financial advisors to assist them in meeting their clients needs and/or recruiting them to join the TPPN family. You will be expected to explain in detail the product features and benefits. Your goal is to become a trusted resource to your agents allowing them to do what they do best.

Educational Requirements:
  • Some college is preferred but not required
Licenses:
  • Life, Health and Annuity State insurance license
Position Demands:
  • Office environment with normal working hours.
  • Some extended hours for special situations.
  • Possible occasional travel.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Proactively initiates calls to market and promote life insurance and annuity products offered by TPPN; helps determine which products best meet the customers’ needs and financial circumstances; advises on the advantages/disadvantages and features/benefits; notifies clients of updated product information, performance and changes.
  • Proactively initiates calls to prospective agents and maintains existing relationships in order to increase sales and sharing our value proposition.
  • Responds to inbound service-related calls providing excellent customer service to all internal and external customers; investigates potential sales opportunities through reactive telemarketing efforts.
  • Maintains contact management database of detailed notes and “intelligence” on contacts and reception to sales contacts.
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external rules, policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for making a range of decisions, escalating to Manager when appropriate and updating Manager on a regular basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experience with life insurance, medicare supplements or annuities is a plus.
  • Identify complex issues, quantifying the issue and providing creative resolutions to solve.
  • Must be able to cite examples of self-motivation and experience working under limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise
  • Experience must include strong telephone communication and etiquette skills
Computer skills and knowledge of hardware & software required:
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint applications.
  • Previous knowledge working with a CRM is a plus.
