Applications are being accepted by the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation for the position of Program Officer for the Creating Safe, Equitable & Thriving Communities (SET) Fund, which will make grants to projects in the Cedar Rapids area. This fund emerged from the work of a community task force that identified intersectional strategies to address systemic causes of youth violence, including safe and stable housing, improved educational outcomes and economic opportunities, and conflict resolution skills. This position will facilitate a grant process to accomplish the SET goals as outlined in the task force final report. The Program Officer will assist with project development and proposal submission; lead the application review process; provide analysis and support to the grant committees; and monitor funded projects.

 

Qualifications:  

Minimum of three years’ experience in related field or Bachelor’s degree in social sciences.
