Tanager is seeking two full-time Inpatient Campus Coordinators.  The successful candidates will join a dynamic group of professionals who value teamwork, inclusion, excellence and optimism.  

Tanager Place offers a $500.00 sign on bonus for this position!

Examples of Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, direction and assistance for the inpatient campus which serves PMIC (Psychiatric Medical Institute for Children) and ICF-ID (Intermediate Care Facility for Intellectual Disability) clients
  • Monitoring the implementation of milieu treatment schedules
  • Supporting on- the- floor mentoring for staff regarding trauma informed practices
  • Ensuring calming/safe environments across campus
  • Provides authorization for special treatment procedures, ensuring appropriate usage and assessment.
  • Training will be provided to support skill set and abilities for the position.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in inpatient services and with leading others
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
  • Licensure at the bachelors level required or the ability to acquire Iowa license within 90 days of hire
  • Additional professional education levels accepted include RN, LPN, LMFT, LMSW, LMHC, or other acceptable licensures meeting Iowa Code for licensed professionals
  • Tanager Place will provide the cost of required licensure fees.

Schedule: 
  • Second shift and every other weekend.
