The Tanager Place Behavioral Health Clinic is committed to providing mental and behavioral health care to children and adolescents, while providing the needed support for each child’s family and immediate support network. The Clinic focuses on increasing quality of life through traditional and innovative therapeutic services. Fully accredited by the State of Iowa and the Council on Accreditation, Tanager Place Mental Health Clinic prides itself on providing the highest quality of care treating a comprehensive range of issues. Our clinicians collaborate with each patient and their family in order to create an individualized treatment plan and person centered goals. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team providing services to clients in the clinic and community settings.

Responsibilities:
Position duties include working as part of the team to create and implement individualized behavior and skill acquisition programs to teach a wide variety of developmental skills in the clinic and in-home setting.  Requires high energy, attention to detail, strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.  Work in conjunction with current BCBA with program development and expansion.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, behavior analysis, or related field
  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families is required.  
  • Prior leadership or program development experience preferred. 
  • Experience conducting assessments (VB-MAPPS, ABLLS-R) preferred
