Human Resources Representative

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Human Resources department is growing! We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an HR Representative. This individual will function as part of a team in a  generalist capacity, assisting with the management of day-to-day human resources activities.

Duties:

  • Key areas of responsibility include partnering on full cycle employment processes including, but not limited to, assisting with development of job descriptions, posting positions, assistance with aspects of recruitment, timely review of resumes and applications, interviewing, new hire offers of employment, completing background checks, hiring and onboarding (including facilitation of orientation sessions) and management of new hire and employee data and information. 
  • Will also work with end of employment cycle processes including assisting with preparation of documentation, managing exit interview process, and updating systems as appropriate. 
  • In addition to working with PCI’s employment processes, this individual will also engage in HR activities related to employee relations, benefits administration, leave of absence management, ensuring compliance with government regulations and facilitation of training sessions.
  • The HR Rep will also assist with employee engagement and reward and recognition efforts and will provide support, consultation and resources to employees and managers who have questions on PCI policies, practices and procedures, which may include issues surrounding FMLA, ADA and Worker’s Compensation.
  • This individual will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new programs or opportunities to assist the organization and department in being the best it can be.

Key qualifications to be considered for this on-site role include:

  • Degree in relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook and prefer experience with ADP HRIS
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Superior interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated customer service aptitude with the ability to handle multiple people interactions throughout the day in a hospitable manner.
  • Be self-motivated and organized.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete assigned duties within deadlines.
  • Preferred candidate will have three to five years applicable HR experience
