Human Resource Coordinator
Integrated DNA Technologies
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to all areas of Human Resources including recruiting, reporting, training, compliance and special projects.
Essential Functions:
Fields employee questions regarding human resources policies and procedures; refers to other HR staff as needed
Communicates new hires details to appropriate internal departments to ensure ample response time for required set ups and preparation
Facilitates new hire orientation and onboarding initiatives
Tracks leaves of absence, provides appropriate documentation, and communicates issues of pay with payroll
Assist in the preparation of associate trainings
Maintains accurate and up to date I9s, public access files, and employee files
Securely destroys documents based on retention policy
Assists in the finalization and maintenance of job descriptions
Manages department expenditures including submitting invoices for payment and tracking expenses
Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
Performs other duties as assigned
Professional Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in a Human Resources department strongly preferred
Proficient computer skills (MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required;
Prior experience using an HRIS preferred

Must be organized and with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks/projects, according to deadlines, with minimal supervision
Strong presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of IDT associates
Adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
Ability to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation
Adaptability to accepting responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity.
