Human Resources support to Management and Corporate Divisions including but not limited to the following areas of concentration: Employee Relations, Recruiting, Administration of Benefits, Compliance, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Recognition and Engagement Programs, Supporting Onboarding, Special Assignments and Tasks as assigned.

Employee Relations: Provide coaching and guidance regarding employment issues in such areas as policy and procedure interpretation/application, dispute resolution, corrective action, leaves of absence, harassment, and terminations.

Talent Acquisition/Recruiting: Work with management to create and maintain workforce staffing plans. Coordinate recruiting efforts to ensure that competent, diverse, and skilled workers are hired and workload levels are appropriate and maintained, and work to minimize turnover.

Administration of Benefits: Perform administration of benefit plans, including but not limited to analyzing costs and negotiating contracts to ensure competitive rates, handling enrollments and change requests, benefits questions, and creating monthly reports and invoices. Coordination of Wellness Program and working with provider to track participation and premium incentives. Provide communication for all benefit programs.

Compliance: Review, interpret, administer and ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws for company policies, procedures and benefits.

Training and Development: Development and coordination of effective training programs for all associates and on-going employee development. Partner with management to identify and proactively develop talent through formal training, mentoring, coaching, and goal assignments.

Performance Management: Assist with the performance management process and work with leaders on their associate reviews and evaluations. Provide training and consultation as necessary.

Recognition and Engagement Programs: Develop and coordination of employee recognition programs.

Supporting Onboarding –Collecting new hire paperwork, inputting background checks, and other required paperwork. Maintaining I9 files to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Coordination of new team member orientation and initial training.

Other Special Assignments and Tasks as assigned. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar degree
  • At least 5 years experience in field of Human Resources
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to HR and business practices
  • Strong consultative, presentation, and business communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record

  • Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
