Job Information:

University Human Resources at the University of Iowa is looking for a Business Process Improvement professional who has experience and expertise in organizational development consulting, business process improvement, strategy implementation and work/organizational structure redesign.  The successful applicant will work in a team environment utilizing project management tools and change management best practices to deliver results with effective stakeholder commitment and measurable outcomes.

This position will be filled as either a Senior HR Specialist (PGB2, pay level 4A) or Administrator, HR Services (PGB3, pay level 5A) based on qualifications.  

  • To be eligible for the Administrator, HR Services position, you must have a Master’s degree in business, industrial or quality engineering or related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience);  5+ years of experience in business process improvement and/or organizational development; and extensive or expert-level knowledge/competence with all the required qualifications.
  • To be eligible for the Senior HR Specialist  position, you must have a Master’s degree in business, industrial or quality engineering or related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience);  3-5  years of experience in business process improvement and/or organizational development; and a working knowledge/competence with all the required qualifications.
