UFG is seeking a talent acquisition partner (recruiter) to lead the end-to-end recruitment process from initial job specification development through candidate acceptance. This position will pro-actively source and recruit top talent across the entire organization. This position will also partner with hiring managers, marketing and human resources to establish sourcing and recruiting strategies to create strong pipelines of candidates for short term and long term staffing needs at UFG.
•Perform full cycle recruiting including the development of job advertisements; sourcing and screening candidates; coordination of the interview process; conducting reference checks; presenting and negotiating employment offers.
•Maintain a strong candidate experience through efficiency, quality and effective communication.
•Build an effective recruitment process through ongoing improvements to process, initiatives and strategy.
•Collaborate with hiring managers to create the job requisitions and ensure a full understanding of the job requirements and specifications to develop an effective marketing strategy for the role.
•Educate the hiring manager on the roles, responsibilities and timeline of the recruiting process.
•Partner with hiring managers to develop a recruiting strategy that focuses on current departmental needs, and future talent demands.
•Create and maintain job postings that best reflect the jobs requirements and specifications
•Develop and implement pro-active sourcing strategies to ensure an ongoing pipeline of high quality external candidates
•Build a talent pipeline for all roles through cold calling, college and university partnerships, networking, internet searches, database searches, and other methods to identify and attract top talent.
•Proactively research and investigate new strategies for sourcing candidates.
•Conduct initial review of resumes to determine preliminary fit
•Conduct phone interviews and/or initial in person interviews to asses candidate qualifications and make recommendations to hiring managers.
•Coordinate and schedule onsite interview schedules for hiring managers and interview panels
•Conduct reference and background checks.
•Provide guidance on compensation packages, and extend and negotiate employment offer packages
•Engage in community outreach efforts and participate in career fairs and special recruiting events to promote UFG as a top workplace.
•Maintain and administer UFG's applicant tracking system to ensure a highly efficient recruitment process for candidates, hiring managers and HR users.
•Research, manage and administer talent acquisitions technologies and vendor relationships
•Stay current and maintain a strong understanding of on talent acquisition strategies, trends and best practices
•Four year college degree, preferably in business, management or human resources
•5+ years of professional full cycle talent acquisition experience
•Ability to handle 30 - 40 open requisitions
•Ability to research and source passive candidates is critical
•Must be comfortable with cold calling candidates to develop candidates leads
•Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, hiring managers and candidates
•Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
•Strong knowledge of social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+)
•Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
•Proficient using LinkedIn Recruiter
•Experience with applicant tracking systems - iCIMS strongly preferred
