Position Purpose - Responsible for catering sales and marketing for the hotel. Maintains and develops new accounts and generates top line revenue for the hotel

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Identifies and solicits new accounts
  • Monitors competitive activity
  • Maintains existing accounts
  • Conducts outside sales calls
  • Achieves monthly revenue booking goals
  • Completes daily/weekly/monthly reports
  • Respond to all guest inquiries and third party meeting leads
  • Work client-related special events
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification Standards

  • In-depth knowledge of hotel Catering/Sales

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in hotel or conference Catering/Sales

Education

  • Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
