This Paramedic position is thorugh our MedijUV division and will start IV’s, maintain the mobile medical service line, assist with patient transfer and communicate with healthcare providers.

Essential Duties:

Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

• Maintain and operate a Luxury Sprinter Van used for mobile medical service line.
• Develop and grow a subscription-based IV hydration program.
• Create and maintain an online scheduling tool for patients to schedule destination and mobile therapies.
• Build a small team of trusted paramedics/nurses to broaden the availability of the team and offer IV hydration as many days a week as possible.
• Build a first class industry leading VIP mobile infusion image & brand name.
• Start IV fluids on patients within Mobile Medical Service and document appropriately.
• Assist patient transfers safely in and out of vehicle.
• Communicate with Providers on care needs and adapt to dynamic situations.
• Support in Clinic Specialty Infusion services as needed. 
• Competency and skills working independently as well as in a team environment. 
• Work toward continuous quality improvement
• Stay current with changing technology, including software and rehabilitation medicine programs. 
• Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Paramedic position does not have supervisory responsibility.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skills and ability required

Education/Experience:

• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Graduate of accredited paramedic school.
• Experience in clinical knowledge and proven analytical abilities.
• Strong computer skills.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current Paramedic license.
