Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations in an acute care setting by completing an occupational profile and relevant assessments
• Develop individualized occupation-based treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on appropriate techniques and strategies for continued progress.

Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Iowa at time of hire.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in acute care or rehabilitation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
