NEW Express Care Clinic - Experienced Nurse Practitioner or PA - Cedar Rapids, IA

UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for an experienced NP or PA to join our Express Care team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

• Concierge model Urgent Care
• Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year
• 0.6 FTE (Part-time benefits)
• 6 - 12 hour shifts per 21 day period
• 4 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every three weeks
• Required to work 1 Summer Holiday and 1 Winter Holiday
• No call requirements
• Work with experienced staff
• Experienced providers only
• No appointments necessary
• Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

• Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures
• Excellent assessment skills
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Provide high quality care to all ages
• Offer select diagnostic tests
• Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients

• REQUIRED: 1-2 years of Family Medicine or Urgent care experience, as an advanced practitioner
• Hold a current and unrestricted license or certification, as applicable, in the Advanced Practitioner's field of practice in the state(s) in which Advanced Practitioner provides services
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioner's field of practice
• Ability to work as a team member
