PRN ONLY Inpatient Psychiatry - Nurse Practitioner - Cedar Rapids, Iowa

UnityPoint Clinic is searching a PRN Nurse Practitioner to join their Inpatient Behavioral Health team at St. Luke’s in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The St. Luke’s Behavioral Hospitalist team consists of a team of Physicians and ARNPs, that are providing full inpatient care to the Adult Geriatric, Adult and Child adolescent units.

• PRN only
• Provide Night/Weekends inpatient coverage of psychiatry patients

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program in area of specialty, approved by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing.
• Certification as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the Iowa Board of Nursing, as RN and ARNP.
• Prior psychiatry care is preferred
• Current federal DEA and Iowa controlled substance certificates.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of healthcare computer systems and applications.
