PCI is currently searching for a Director of Operations for our Orthopaedics group. This key Administrator will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Department. As someone who works well in a fast-paced setting, you will lead, plan, organize, staff, and direct activities in the Orthopedic section in collaboration with your departmental supervisors. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure delivery of quality patient care by coordinating and participating in service-based and cross-functional performance improvement activity that improves patient access/flow, patient satisfaction, referring physician satisfaction, employee acquisition, satisfaction, and/or retention.
  • Monitor operation of a budget-sensitive service model, including departmental staffing requirements and productivity levels. 
  • Coordinate service and departmental planning and process improvement. 
  • Manage daily operations and coordinate work activities to maximize department potential.
  • Administers departmental and organizational initiatives in alignment with PCI strategic plan.
  • Communicates effectively with physicians and PCI leadership.
  • Develops, fosters and supports a team oriented environment.

Do you have what it takes?  
We are seeking a motivated individual with superior customer service, leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of healthcare operations experience and at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and able to train staff members and give them direction, delegating and multitasking.
  • Strongly self-motivated; must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Ability to accept challenging and new projects and to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of the need for and evidence of consistent respect for confidentiality.
