We are currently seeking a Director of Provider Relations to join our Marketing and Communications team. The office will be located in Iowa City, Iowa and requires travel within the region. The successful candidate will build and direct a regional provider relations program in support of UI Health Care mission, vision and strategic plan. Work closely with physician and operational leadership to develop and implement regional strategies designed to improve relationships with referring providers. Identify and champion operational improvements that positively impact the referring provider pathway. Provide strategic insight into market opportunities for growth. Positively represent UI Health Care throughout the region to to develop and strengthen hospital system, physician and referral source relationships that contribute to reputation, market position and brand strategy. Maintain strong working relationships with UI physicians, executive leaders and designated area providers. Ensures provider relations staff work effectively and efficiently in support of UI Health Care mission, vision and strategic plan.
