Job Information:

The University of Iowa (UI) College of Nursing is seeking a qualified Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) applicant for a Clinical Track (Non-Tenure) Nine-Month Faculty position in the Doctor of Nursing (DNP) Program. The applicant will need a foundation in practice, teaching and scholarship.  

Areas of particular interest include teaching expertise in:

  • Psych Mental Health Practitioner practicum/clinical
  • Pathology
  • Pharmacology

Requirements include:

  • Earned doctorate in nursing (Research or Practice Doctorate; DNP preferred) 
  • National certification as an PMHNP
  • Expertise and experience in clinical specialty
  • Licensed Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
