Building & Grounds Assistant - Part Time

Building & Grounds Assistant – Part-Time - 12 hours/week

We are looking for a dependable, hard-working person to help keep our showroom and grounds clean and customer-ready!

• $20 - $22/hour
• 4 hours/day - 3 days each week - flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM
• Perfect position for a semi-retired "Fixit" person

Responsibilities

• Light maintenance - replace light bulbs, unclog drains, touch up paint, simple repairs
• Maintain clean floors – sweep, mop, run carpet cleaner
• Empty trash & recycling
• Clear snow from entrances and walks. Spread sand and ice melting chemicals.
• Assist with set-up and clean-up after special events
• Receives deliveries and assist in unloading trucks and storing supplies
• Pick up supplies as needed
• Restock refrigerator with bottled water and pop

Requirements

• Self-motivated – able to see what needs to be done and capable of completing tasks without direct supervision
• Dependable and hard-working
• Familiar with basic repair and landscaping practices
