This position is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the Company in accordance with
generally accepted accounting principles and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(include but are not limited to the following)
  • Display and promote company values (ASPIRE: Attitude, Safety, Passion, Integrity, Relationship, and Evolve)
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance
  • Participate in the development of the Company’s plans and programs as a strategic partner
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long‐range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action
  • Develop credibility and provide leadership for the finance & accounting group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends to assist the CEO and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities
  • Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges
  • Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline
  • Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on problem‐solving and decision‐making issues affecting the organization
  • Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position
  • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism which includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs
  • Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Company may enter
  • Evaluation of the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities of individuals
  • Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies
  • Firm understanding and compliance with company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Master’s degree in a relatable field preferred
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ of management and/or leadership experience required
  • A minimum of 5+ years/ of experience in a relatable field required
  • Experience with ERP software preferred
  • Experience in contract negotiation required
  • Experience with business process improvement teams and initiative required
  • Experience with quoting projects, product cost analysis and ROI analysis required
  • Knowledge of databases and ability to create reports preferred
  • Knowledge of functional business processes required
  • Understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws preferred
