JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for oversight of both bond and loan portfolios, including client service, credit analysis, closing activities, and internal servicing and monitoring.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Assist SFG Associates with timely and accurate completion of credit presentations, including analysis of appropriate data per credit policy, bank procedures, and regulatory requirements.  
  2. Assist SFG Associates with the documentation process to ensure that loan and bond documents are consistent with credit approval, including appropriate signatures, disclosures, credit authority, and internal system requirements.
  3. Oversee/drive pre-closing and post-closing due diligence as required by SFG Credit Policy and credit approval.
  4. Monitor compliance with loan agreements by working with the SFG Associates to ensure timely receipt and review of financials, covenant compliance, and other loan agreement conditions.
  5. Serve as a back-up to the SFG Officers as appropriate, including attending the SFG Credit Committee, handling client service issues, and coordination/handling of closings.
  6. Responsible for internal portfolio management processes including monitoring and performing appropriate action related to past dues and maturing loans, communicating with participant banks, and working with internal and external auditors.
  7. Other duties as assigned

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Build relationships with other bank personnel to facilitate effective working relationships between credit administration and production.  Provide timely and effective responses to servicing needs.  
  2. Participates in bank and community events.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  1. 2+ years of credit analysis and commercial portfolio management experience. 
  2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
  3. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong math skills; ability to organize and analyze complex financial information.
  5. Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
