We are currently seeking a Vice President of Retail to join our Linn Area Family.  This leadership position is responsible for overall strategic direction for member care and sales through our front line, call center and consumer lenders.   This professional will oversee all related branch operations and locations and provide direction and leadership to a team of managers and supervisors including maintenance personnel.

  • This person is expected to execute programs designed to improve and expand member service and sales. He / She will stay continually abreast of new technology in the industry and will maintain the highest levels of internal and external member service by communicating honestly and constructively; treating all employees and members with dignity, respect and courtesy. They will continually consider process improvements and member access needs to maximize branch efficiency and member care.
  • You get to be responsible for budgeting, planning, and training and develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products, processes and services by monitoring trends in operation, deposit, and loan services.  You also are responsible for determining sales goals to support annual budgets for assigned staff and overseeing management of revenue and expenses for the teams.
  • The VP of Retail will be an effective mentor and motivate staff to meet member service and sales goals for member-related deposit and loan products. This includes developing stretch goals and metrics to enforce accountability and increase staff performance.
  • You will also drive, track, and own key strategic initiatives to include the creation of policies and procedures for the member service functions which are implemented by staff. Monitor product delivery quality and take action to resolve problems to ensure the highest quality of member service and satisfaction is met.
  • The successful candidate will participate on the Senior Management Team and actively collaborate with coaches and mentors to support our strategic goals and Credit Union’s mission of: “To be partners in a successful future with our members and employees by providing caring financial services and community support.”
  • A minimum of 10 or more years of related experience and a college degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or other Business degree relevant to the Financial Services Industry is required.  Must also possess superior organizational and project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
