The Ecommerce Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Kent Nutrition Group (KNG) ecommerce business, which includes Kent Feeds and Blue Seal feed branded products.  The qualified individual will lead and manage the strategic direction of the organization through Amazon, and other third party platforms.  The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional departments to deliver on P&L targets by managing merchandise planning, site experience and traffic through a SEO plan.

The individual must be able to assess and initiate opportunities for growth, leading and managing the implementation of said duties while creating a dynamic customer experience. They will also be responsible for the coordination of new online marketing strategies with the digital marketing coordinator. The candidate must have at a minimum 3 years of proven experience working directly with Amazon and/or or through a broker/consultant with full understanding of the Vendor Central Portal and specifically Amazon Advertising, which includes Vendor Powered Coupons and building the brand registry.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Responsible for the E-Commerce P&L through understanding key performance indicators, while ensuring that overall business targets are met.
  • Lead, strategize and execute KPI’s to drive sales growth on Amazon, and other third party platforms.
  • Manage and maintain a positive account relationship with ecommerce customers
  • Define and lead ecommerce strategy for KNG by collaborating with internal and external contacts to deliver actionable work plans.
  • Utilize marketing team to define, establish, and implement brand standards and designs of products and images on the detail pages of the third party providers. 
  • Develop processes and coordinate communication across all departments connected to the ecommerce strategy.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing industry to continually assist in developing KNG’s digital marketing needs.
  • Create customer experience plan in a changing environment; review and refresh as necessary
  • Increase customer awareness through SEO plan while prioritizing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external marketing agencies in order to create a user friendly digital experience that provides relevant onsite customer experiences.
  • Build the annual business plan and budget for e-marketing to maximize resources and online presence. 
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to develop seasonal strategies around various product categories.
  • Collaborate with internal website management personnel for any needs connected to ecommerce.
  • Work with senior leadership to provide insight and progress.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills Include:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing
  • Proven experience in executing sales and marketing strategies directly with Amazon or with the support of a broker/consultant with full understanding of the Vendor Central Portal and Amazon Advertising or with
  • Successful experience in executing sales and marketing strategies on third party platforms
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Graphic Design abilities a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales or marketing through knowledge of the ecommerce category.
  • 3 years minimum of managing and executing sales and marketing strategies on Amazon and the Vendor Central Portal
  • 2 years minimum of managing accounts, either ecommerce or other
