Description

 Responsible for the online experience of the organization’s customers, partners, supplier and employees. By using industry standard approaches, delivers information on the Internet by maintaining Website operations, content, and images.  The Webmaster ensures the organization’s online portal is among its best assets and offers a public  “face” to the company on the Internet.
 Also responsible for the technical maintenance of the CRM system as well as scoping and installing a new Project Management system.

Principal Accountabilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:  Include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
1.  Website Maintenance (50%)
· Determine business website needs and requirements for public website
www.diamondv.com and intranet site:MyDV
· Refresh and test aesthetic, functional and user-friendly website as needed
· Gain input from Species Managers, Marketing Communications team, Commercial
teams and Design team
· Implement and ensure website security and data protection
· Monitor and analyze site performance
· Address and respond to user comments and complaints


2. CRM System Maintenance (20%)
· Ensure CRM system is functioning
· Work with Commercial teams and Species managers on edits or updates to the
system


3. Project Management System Scoping, Implementation & Maintenance (20%)
·  Gather requirements from Marketing Team and Portfolio Management Team for a
Project Management System
·  Evaluate options and propose to teams and drive to a decision on a system
·  Implement system and train users
·  Maintain system


4. Social Media Monitoring (5%)
·  Learn Netbase social monitoring system
·  Work with Species Managers and Marketing Communicaitons team on needs
·  Provide reports for these teams


5. Other tasks as time permits (5%)

             · As time allows, there is opportunity to assist the rest of the team in various tasks,          including social media maintenance, video recording and editing, among others.

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications
  • Education – Bachelor of Arts or Associate Applied Science degree in Web Development / Design
  • Experience – Minimum 3 years as a webmaster or equivalent work experience in similardiscipline essential
  • Working knowledge of programming languages and operating systems: Microsoft Office, Google, software, Microsoft Visual Studio, and/or WordPress, Photoshop, Fireworks, Adobe Acrobat
  • Professional, and Flash
  • Knowledge of website management tools
  • Web browser compatibility, web accessibility, and/or Remote Data Services
  • Knowledge of Windows media streaming technologies, image acquisition using scanners and imaging tools, image optimization/compression
  • SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP
  • A thorough knowledge of Search Engine Optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of IT security
  • Proven ability to complete projects and meet deadlines with appropriate direction
  • Good collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multifaceted organization
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner at industry activities 
  • Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business information
  • Must be flexible in dealing with a wide variety of demands and changes in the scope of responsibilities of the position
  • Ability to travel up to 5% 
Preferred Qualifications
·    Knowledge or experience in feed, food or health & nutrition a plus
·    Experience and passion in feed additives or related agriculture industry
