Design Engineer

Duties:

• This position is responsible for design and development tasks on assigned projects within the assigned markets.
• The position is responsible to maintain all relevant data including project file contents and CAD data structures, layouts, detail drawings, and assembly drawings.
• This position will receive work assignments from the APQP Engineering/Innovation Manager and is expected to collaborate with members of Project Teams and Product Management.
• At times, this position may be assigned with a dedicated percentage of time to a given Workgroup, during which time, the individual will receive work assignments directly from the Workgroup SPM, Project Engineer, and/or Account Manager, not exceeding the agreed upon percentage allocation.

Requirements:

• Experience preferred, but entry level will be considered
• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related field will be considered
• A self-motivated and mechanically minded designer who possesses a creative and innovative mindset
• Experience with CREO design software preferred, any design software experience will be considered
• Experience with Microsoft Office a plus
• Someone motivated by seeing your designs become reality would be a great TriMark fit
