What we are looking for: 
IDx is looking for a high potential individual. The Engineering Project Manager will manage project/product development, and work toward becoming the nexus of our business; sitting between our engineering, marketing, and legal teams to deliver the various applications that comprise our automated medical device systems and associated processes.

The Engineering Project Manager will:
  • Manage software requirements and overall product definition with the CTO and technical leads.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between engineering, marketing, sales, and legal to: 
    • Communicate priority, timelines, and direction.
    • Handle inbound quality system requests associated with engineering.
  • Lead scheduling and scrum, sprint, Quality Action Plan (QAP), and project meetings. 
  • Manage development process and resource distribution to deliver high quality, well-documented products on time.
  • Oversee all regulatory medical device documentation associated with product release. 
Of paramount importance in this role are:
  • Systematic approach to resource management and development process.
  • Organization skills and detail-oriented nature.
  • Cross-functional communication skills.

  • 2+ years working in a software development team or exceptional new grad with proven track record of success.
  • Applicants must not now or in the future need IDx to sponsor an immigration case for employment (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration cases).

  • A number of open source libraries to which we have contributed when appropriate
