Visiting Faculty Position in Business Analytics

The Department of Business Analytics within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one non-tenure track Visiting Faculty Position in Business Analytics at the level of Visiting Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor starting August 16, 2023. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position may range from 50% time (teaching 2 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 4 classes/year) and include a 1-3 year contract with benefits. For more information about the Visiting Faculty policy, refer to the Operations Manual, III 10.12.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g., criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Education Requirement

An earned doctorate or strong evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed before August 16, 2023.

Required Qualifications

Evidence of successful teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level in any area of business analytics.

A demonstrated potential for publishing significant research in top-tier journals.

Desired Qualifications

We particularly seek candidates who are prepared to teach courses such as machine learning, big data, Python, database and data warehouse, financial analytics, people analytics, or supply chain analytics.
