What we are looking for:
We are looking for an organized and experienced Corporate Trainer to join our team. As a Corporate Trainer, you will be responsible for indexing out current training needs and gaps, facilitating both team and individual growth by working with company leaders to: 1) create and deliver training development plans across company departments, 2) build out training materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources, and 3) identify opportunities such as online modules and guides that can support training objectives. The ideal candidate will be a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the latest tools and pedagogies for employee training and performance.

IDx operates within the regulated medical device industry and is following a highly structured development process that requires extensive documentation and record keeping.  Training our employees to understand and appreciate the importance of the regulatory and legal compliance standards is an essential part of this position.

The duties and responsibilities that you’ll be taking on:
  • Build-out the baseline training programs that will apply across departments
  • Work with managers to measure and assess staff training needs in individual departments
  • Facilitate workshops, individual training sessions, classroom style presentations, etc.
  • Design and implement training programs with support from internal content experts
  • Prepare educational materials 
  • Plan and schedule training sessions
  • Track employee attendance and completion of trainings and record in our QMS application
  • Manage training budgets
  • Perform regular training gap assessments 
  • Monitor and present employee performance/training efficacy
  • Research unique off-site training opportunities  

  • Firm grasp of best practices in effective workplace training
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Powerpoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical-thinker and problem-solver

What will help you in this role:
  • BSc/BA in business, organizational management, education HR or relevant field is preferred
  • Proven experience in teaching or training role
  • Experience with creation of learning literature
  • Experience training new hires as well as veteran employees
  • Ability to create interactive, multimedia presentations
  • Ability to direct structured learning experiences
  • Acute appreciate of and desire for efficiency
