The Department of Management & Organizations and the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for one or more non-tenure Instructional Track Faculty Position(s) in Entrepreneurship at the level of Lecturer, Associate Professor of Practice or Instruction, or Full Professor of Practice or Instruction, starting August 21, 2019. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. Position(s) may range from 50% time (teaching 4 classes/year) to 100% time (teaching 8 classes/year) and include a 1-7 year contract with benefits. For more information about the Instructional Faculty policy, refer to the Operations Manual, III 10.11.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted.

Education Requirement  Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field combined with c-level experience (5-10 years).

Required Qualifications:  Applicants must have a strong background in at least two of the following areas; (1) entrepreneurial management, (2) business strategy, and (3) technology innovation and development.  Minimum of five years’ experience as a successful entrepreneur, business executive, or working with high growth ventures is required.

Desired Qualifications:  A master’s degree or higher in business or a related field and industry experience. Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
