We have an opening in Coralville and one in Cedar Rapids, IA for our Kirkwood Interactive Camp for Kids program which is from 6-10-19 to 8-9-19.

Currently looking for a student with any of the following skills: Management, Children Supervisor, Time Management, Elementary Education degree.
Under supervision of the KICK Camp Director, the KICK Camp Manager is responsible for day to day activities that include but are not limited to:
Working with camp counselors on job performance, safety of children, smooth transition in between camps, developing a schedule for the seven weeks of camp, working with instructors on any needs, relaying back to camp director any issues or concerns, making camp safe and fun for the students and parents.

  • Consistently attend scheduled work shifts Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-4:30PM from June 15th through August 14th.
  • CPR certified.
  • Facilitate an outstanding participant experience by giving exemplary customer service.
  • Greet and welcome participants.
  • Effectively communicate with participants and Continuing Education Staff.
  • Answer questions and provide resources as appropriate to participants.
  • Perform other related work duties as assigned.
  • Have a true excitement for helping participants learn.
  • Enjoy a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Personify a commitment to exceeding expectations.
  • Possess a savvy and confident personality.
  • Be able and willing to represent the College in the most positive manner with prospective, former, and current participants, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve.

  • Communicate clearly, concisely, logically, and coherently orally and in writing.
