Clinical Supervisor / Speech-Language Pathologist

Clinical Supervisor/Speech-Language Pathologist, Adult Neurologic Communication Disorders – Specialized Care Coordinator at the University of Iowa Wendell Johnson Speech & Hearing Clinic.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide supervision to SLP graduate students and speech-language assessment and therapy to adults with neurogenic communication disorders in our Wendell Johnson Speech & Hearing Clinic. Requirements for this position are a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, at least 3 years’ post-graduate clinical SLP experience providing individual and group therapy to adult neurogenic populations (e.g., aphasia, motor speech disorders, TBI, dementia), Certificate of Clinical Competence, and eligibility for State of Iowa license. Desired qualifications include experience in clinical supervision of graduate students and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) positions, experience in dysphagia and/or cognitive disorders.  This is a fall 2018 semester position with the possibility of renewing into the spring 2019 semester.
