Job Information:

The Office of the Registrar is looking for a Registrar Services Coordinator (RSC) that will provide support in the Office of the Registrar for all processes, tools, and systems related to document imaging for centralized services of the Office of the Registrar, Office of Admissions, and Student Financial Aid. The successful candidate will provide support for fulfilling requests for maintained documents. As an employee of the Office of the Registrar this position will be required to provide assistance at University commencement ceremonies. This position also has supervision over the 3 student imaging staff & has functional supervision of one part-time merit position.


Required qualifications include: 

  • Experience (1 year) working in a postsecondary academic setting.
  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrates extensive proficiency in problem solving and strong organizational skills showing knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative resolution options.
  • Demonstrates extensive proficiency in operation and application of computer-based academic support systems and computer software applications related to a student information system (i.e. MAUI, PeopleSoft, Banner, etc.), document management (i.e. Nolij, Perceptive Software, OnBase, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and application of diverse communication techniques and relationship building skills which include listening skills that develop the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work with users at all levels of experience both as part of a team in a work group environment and as a self-motivated individual.

Highly desired qualifications include: 

  • Experience (typically 1-3 years) working in a postsecondary academic setting.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations as familiarity with the operations of a registrar’s office.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of FERPA and other university and federal regulatory policies and laws.
  • Experience (typically 2 years) working directly with MAUI and Nolij.
