Assistant Director – Undergraduate Program office PCC2 4A – Academic/Clinical Program Management Specialist


The Tippie College of Business Undergraduate Program Office is seeking an Assistant Director. The position is responsible for advising undergraduate business students and coordinating programs and events that support student success, connection with the College, and the celebration of achievement. Responsibilities will require occasional time outside the 8:00am to 5:00pm work day to support student activities and events. Salary is $42,000 to commensurate. Five references will be requested at a later point in the search.


Required qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; typically one to three years in higher education academic advising or student services. Expert knowledge of and ability to communicate effectively with individuals and large groups both verbally and in writing; working knowledge of and experience in program management and/or event planning and execution; demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with a student service focus.


Desired qualifications: Master’s degree in student affairs, business, or a related field; working knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures related to undergraduate students; higher education experience in any of the following: orientation, academic support and advising, or student services.
