We are currently accepting applications for Mail Delivery Driver in Cedar Rapids, IA. (and surrounding areas)

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
• High school diploma or GED
• Meet requirements of MVR and background check
• Ability to communicate, possess a positive attitude, good verbal, and written skills
• Weekend shifts available
• AM/PM split shifts available
• Various hours available

Compensation:

• $20.99/ hr
• Plus an additional $5.11 towards health insurance premiums or a fully vested 401k!

Primary Duties:

• Drive a medium duty straight truck with a 24'-26' cargo box. Primarily used to pick up and deliver mail and packages to and from specific Post Offices.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment.
• Load and unload vehicle.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Verify and sort contents of the load. Make sure items are delivered to correct locations.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, in accordance with required regulations.
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
